My turn signal no longer switches off automatically after turning. This fixed it.

My '08 Pontiac G6 stopped working properly. After watching several YouTube videos showing how to replace the turn signal, we ordered this part. One video said we had to disconnect the battery first before replacing the turn signal and other videos didn't mention it at all. We decided first to disconnect the battery and easily replace the indicator. My blinker works fine now. Now I need to figure out how to reset the electronic clock. I hope I can find it online as I couldn't find this information in the user manual.
