🔌 Enhanced GM Genuine Parts D6253E Turn Signal and Headlamp Dimmer Switch Review

Well after about two months I finally had time to replace the turn signal/headlight switch and I have to say it was a lot easier than I expected and the part was exactly the same. Having a repair manual handy also gave good advice on removing and installing the switch and stressed the safety aspects. Although the car still needs a few repairs, it gives my granddaughter a better idea that she has a car to learn to drive.

Very easy to install. I have a 2007 Pontiac G6 and it took 10 minutes. You will need a 7mm socket to remove the 3 screws under the steering column. I used my fingernails to unclip the connector cables (contrary to the YouTube guy who says you need some sort of dental tool). The battery didn't have to be disconnected either! So easy that anyone with technical skills can do it. This also solved the problem, when I turned and put the steering wheel back straight the warning light went out. Obtain!

Exactly what I needed. Perfect fit and easy to install. Be careful: the car cable connectors you connect to this module are a bit fragile. So my experience was that I had to manually turn off the turn signal switch after each turn, which I often forgot, causing confusion and scowls from people at intersections.
