500GB drives - Absolute junk
50% failure right out of the box! This will be the last time I use a Western Digital GREEN drive - - - period. I've seen problems with these drives before and should have known better; don't let the cheap price fool you. (Error code = 07 Error reading test object - error checkpoint = 97) So for a drive that has been running for less than an hour. Two hard drives and one has already failed. I am preparing to connect the second; and this works better; or they will both be sent back to the seller for a refund. OH------By-The-Way; Try running the serial number on these drives to check the warranty on Western Digital's website. These OEM devices are not covered under warranty. - - - Never again - - -
