
Although the instructions say it's not supported on Linux, it does work just fine. Mint auto-loaded the drivers with no problem.Also, the instructions say that it requires the SATA to MOLEX power adapter has to be connected, it does not unless you need to run a USB-powered device. I'm just using it to connect to an externally powered USB drive, so it was a good surprise. Dell R710 doesn't have anywhere to plug the connector in, so wasn't sure if it would work.Drive is running fantastically faster than it did connected to the USB 2.0 that's built into the R710.
