I hung this in the downstairs storage door. Now when we come home from school, shoes fit right into this amazingly sturdy organizer, replacing them with slippers. I also have it in my daughter's room. Out of season and shoes that don't quite fit me yet (gifts from family friends, wrong size) as well as shoes for a special occasion come up where I can reach them. My daughter uses a few slits for a tank top, underwear, and school socks. It was such a joy to have these organizers (note I don't just call them "shoe organizers") in our lives. I keep one in my linen closet that I use for medication, lotions, extra toothpaste, and specialty hair creams. You can put so much into one of these things that it's really amazing. I have a whole shelf for towels. It no longer cracks but is organized nicely and easily. If I had a door in my room that could be used, I would use mine for underwear, tights, panties, tank tops, socks and only then put shoes over them. Unfortunately this product seems to be only for the kids in my house. Once my son is done with the basketball hoop on the back of his door I will make sure to put all of his Pokemon, Lego, Uno cards, figures etc in the organizer. I can just move the hoop for my own thoughts. Everything is immediately accessible, easy to clean and visible to children. This last part seems to be of great importance. They want to see their belongings, so putting them in canvas boxes really doesn't work. Take her. Buy them now! Investing is not only an organization, but also peace of mind. What more could a parent want? I sincerely believe that Christmas gift to myself will be another organizer for my son's room. I wonder if he'll miss his basketball hoop after seeing all his favorite things within reach. And I no longer have to go through a minefield of tiny objects to put away his clean clothes.
