Review on Dell Professional P2411H 24 Inch Widescreen Wide Screen, LCD by Anthony Young

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Seems very nice!

I have to say that I'm far from a pro and I hope everyone reading this will take that into account. I bought this monitor the same DAY it came out and I also bought an HP LED monitor. that the overall display of this monitor is excellent. I know a lot of companies don't pay enough attention to the bezel, but this really changes the general attitude towards the monitor. I've always liked the thin bezel approach, and this one is a winner in that regard. . It also gives the feeling that the monitor is flat (although all monitors are flat these days) and enhances the overall look. After connecting this monitor to the HP 2310 WLED Monitor I have to say that HP presents a stunningly good picture. You would NEVER notice this if you didn't do a one-to-one comparison, but HP represents blue in a way you've never seen before, and the same goes for other colors. This puts this monitor to shame in that regard. HP shines, DELL doesn't. I decided to leave DELL and drop HP despite the color and the "pop" HP. I did this because Dell simply offers the BEST stand I have ever used (in any monitor). It's breathtaking. But who cares about the stand, no? Well, for some reason it's important. Furthermore, when the two aren't sitting next to each other (where HP shines with impeccable color and attention grabbing), Dell gets its respect, too. It required good calibration but a good overall look. Again - this is from the perspective of someone who primarily reads (and also films and the internet) but often 10 hours a day (that's why I chose this non-glossy display, unlike HP). I hope this gives you an idea. The more time, the more and better reviews will be published.
