Dell Professional P2411H 24 Inch Widescreen Wide Screen, LCD Review

I currently own this monitor. I admit that in terms of durability this is one of the best monitors I have ever used. However, there are also downsides, such as the lack of HDMI ports, which are standard on all types of displays today. Also, I can find much better monitors or even TVs for half the price of this monitor.

This product was exactly what we needed. The portrait mode feature is great as some apps only need more height than width to display all the information and this monitor does just that.

great color The stand is excellent. Rise, fall, tilt. Adjustment buttons are easy to use. Once you've adjusted the color and contrast, you're done.

I'm a graphic/web designer and I use this model 7-8 hours a day at work. The colors and tones on this monitor are just awful. Everything displayed at the top of the screen appears significantly darker than at the bottom. Fill the screen with a pure gray and it looks like you've applied a gradient to it. If you're a graphics pro, stay away. I think this is a decent cheap monitor for everyone else.

I have to say that I'm far from a pro and I hope everyone reading this will take that into account. The Dell P2411 monitor is designed for "professionals". I have the U2410 on my desk in the office and I bought the cheaper P2411 for my home office. If you're in graphics where color accuracy is important, I'd look at the more expensive U2410, which is a true professional monitor that includes all the input ports and color space needed for graphics, video, or CAD work.
