Review on πŸ”Š InnoMaker PCM5122 HiFi DAC Audio Card Expansion Board for Raspberry Pi 4 3 B+ Pi Zero - DAC HAT by Ryan Gilliam

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great way to boost Raspberry Pi audio

I wanted to use my Pi as an input source for my Sonos system. The Pi itself was underpowered, probably 1/2 watt or less, so no matter how I cranked the Sonos volume, I didn't get what I wanted. Enter InnoMaker DAC HAT. At first I was interested in reading stories, but I bought them and decided I would pull through. Here's the thing: you need to add a line to your config.txt. dtoverlay=allo-boss-dac-pcm512x-audio. All I had to do was comment out another line about sound in the config file. It was easy. It's a job for a few minutes, nothing more. I had a problem and sent a message to InnoMaker and it was fixed after 24 hours. The device is working properly. I added a powered USB hub as I use two sticks. The sound is really great. I also bought an InnoMaker case for $7; it was also perfect and very easy. I couldn't be happier and would buy again without question.
