Review on πŸ”’ Secure Your Notebook on-the-go with Targus ASP02US Ultra Max Notebook Cable Lock by Joseph Stone

That worked fine for a year.

Pros: Lock worked well, was great for 11 months. Cons: Once I set the lock as usual and in the evening when I went home after work the lock didn't open! I spent an hour opening it but nothing. I came back calmer this morning (yes the fact that MY lock was blocking me did stress me out for a while) and decided to try combinations around the ones I had. First I moved each digit individually (the top one, then the second top one, etc.). Then I moved two numbers at once (I wanted to do the top two, then the middle two, etc.) and it popped up! The combination has been changed from 78XX to 67XX! Targus (manufactured) replaced my item (you will have to pay shipping costs to send the faulty one) with another lock (a lock with a key that is less secure but doesn't seem to break). Conclusion: I will not buy it again. I've searched the internet for other models and they all seem to have problems. The ones with keys are easy to pick, and the Kensignton combination lock seems to work well with right-handed locks (I have a left-handed lock). Much luck.
