I use so many heating pads I was very happy to find this reusable product! I bought six straight away and three of them ended up in the bin. When I boiled them for 10 minutes they reverted to a liquid form, everything was fine except what was at the bottom of the pan. For this, when it turned back into a liquid, as it was good, and then when it had cooled, the liquid took on a different crystal quality from that at the bottom of the pan and became very solid while remaining transparent. It was impossible to get it back into the liquid and it was impossible to destroy the internal mechanism of the popper. So the recovery part basically messed it up too, so I only used some of them once before having to discard them. In the "recovery" step, don't absorb too much heat as they simmer at the bottom of the pot. Sorry if this is an odd review, it's hard to describe. I feel like I've figured out how not to break it now, but I've already lost 50% of my investment just following the rules to the letter.
