Review on Oil Rubbed Bronze Outdoor Wall Light - Emliviar Farmhouse Porch Lantern With Clear Tempered Glass by Matt Sirmons

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice materials. Great look. Installation was slightly tricky.

This light is high quality. It feels heavy and solid. No bugs can get inside the glass portion since it is enclosed making it great for an outdoor light. The metal feels great. The bronze coloring looks good. It is all pleasant to look at, even unassembled. There was no bulb included. It takes a T45 which we had to order and are waiting for.Installation was easy with the exception of the outer metal frame. There are very few threads to secure to on the light housing and the bronze outer frame is not milled to a high quality like the silver metal housing it connects to. Getting them aligned was difficult and easily got stuck. Trying to unscrew it caused the upper portion of the housing to unscrew. I had to hold firmly with my hands to get the outer frame separated again. I ended up using a little food grade grease I had lying around to grease the threads which made it easier to connect. I suggest you do something similar as well. Due to this issue I give the light a four out of five. If this was fixed the light is definitely a five. It has a really good look. We can’t wait for our bulb to get here. If anything doesn’t work, I’ll post a follow up.
