Weak! Kills all hope of precise cuts

I bought this insert a few years ago when I bought a new Bosch table saw but only recently used it for the first time. I am very disappointed to say the least. There are a few nice features - it fits perfectly in the hole in the worktop and it has leveling set screws in each corner that rest against small burrs in the saw. However, upon use, it becomes clear that the thing is basically garbage. It's too damn stupid. Even with light pressure, it flexes enough to cause a serious cut. All the fiddling with adjusting screws to align it on the table is in vain, because even slight pressure on the plate deforms it and the workpiece leans into the blade. If you're roughly cutting wood that will be planed or joined it might not matter, but it's a shame because the Bosch 4000 series saws can make very precise cuts with the right saw blade - you can easily join boards with the precision on Glue. However, if the insert flexes and the board tips onto the blade, all of those opportunities are lost. Just returned to Amazon looking for an aftermarket service to bring this saw back to the performance I know it is capable of. Until then, I only use the metal bit that comes with the saw when cutting. In short: This use fundamentally disturbs the saw and impairs its performance. A truly unfortunate surprise from a brand that appears to be collaborating.
