Reference: I have narrow feet and a flat arch and can comfortably wear a size 11 in every other New Balance shoe style I've tried. . I find most New Balance shoes comfortable and my favorite style is the 574. I bought these shoes because I wanted skateboard shoes and thought it made sense to buy them from a brand I like and who already knew my size. Unlike all other New Balance shoes I've tried, this size 11 shoe is too narrow even for my feet. It uncomfortably compresses the entire midfoot. The shoe is also a bit shorter than the regular New Balance 11. I usually have a lot of room in the toe box with the New Balance 11, but my toes are a bit pinched at the front. The arch support on this shoe is also very poorly positioned, so far forward that it presses on the ball of the foot and not the arch of the foot it is part of. Sizing aside, these shoes seem to be pretty good. The construction is good, the soles feel solid, and they offer the functionality of a skateboard shoe without looking as big and ridiculous as most skateboards. If the sizing wasn't so far from normal for New Balance I would definitely keep it. If you plan to buy these I would suggest going for a 1/2 size and then buying a "W" width to give yourself more room.
