This lens hunts to focus. Image quality is good but indistinguishable from the Canon EF glass used with the EF-RF adapter. It looks good, but it's a very expensive lens for this level of clarity. I recommend using Canon EF mount lenses with an EF-RF adapter until you can afford RF glass. I now only use Canon RF glass and there is no doubt that I made the right choice in bringing it back.
