I bought three 140mm fans that fit in an Ethnoo Pro case. The fans arrived without the rubber bumpers on the corners (which I expected) and I wanted those rubber rivets to also act as a dampener. I've never used anything like this before, but installation was easy once I figured out what ending was coming (the other review has pictures which I recommend you check out if you're a noob like me). As my fat fingers struggled, I used needlenose pliers to pry the rivets through the mounting holes in the fans and didn't break any of them. They are stronger than you think. I used them to hang three fans from the mounting points on the top of the case so they would blow air through the top screen. Because the rivets isolate the fans from a direct connection to the metal frame, there is absolutely no vibration from any of the three fans at any fan speed. The fans themselves are very quiet (Arctic F14 Silents) but due to the rubber rivets I can't hear them at all despite all three being just a few feet away (I can see them clearly through the top screen). Color me Fan is now an integral part of all future builds.
