Perfect for that odd Lian Li case.

Just what I needed to fit 2 80mm intake fans to the back of my Lian Li PC-O11WX case, which has a fairly obscure grid mounting design that uses the Does not allow the use of conventional fan screws. They are very strong and resilient, but still strong enough to really hold the fan in place without the hassle of a screwdriver. Bonus: vibration dampening! One thing should be noted. They won't work with fans that have a closed screw shaft mounting design, but there are variations of these designed

Difficulty: hard. in the Computers & Accessories category

Really great noise reduction concept. But legally the most difficult to put on the computer. It's insanely hard to pull out through the mounting holes and really easy to tear. Make sure you have a drill to enlarge the holes for a really nice, logical fit. Throw them away immediately after breaking most of them. Wouldn't recommend her. The small rubber standoffs that come with most fans, such as Other fans, such as Asiahorse's Halo fans, are much easier to install and require no tools other than

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

I ordered several packs - one seemed more "elastic" and the other seemed more rigid. More complex installs are easier but some of those I had to uninstall and reinstall broke (it's happened to me with Noctua and other brands, that's acceptable if it's a nuisance buy it extra especially if you don't install once and never touch it again). The softer/flexible ones seemed a bit more forgiving when I had to remove and reinstall the fan, but the small flange on the part that goes through the caseโ€ฆ

Surprisingly useful with older fans

I use two Thermaltake 140mm fans on the front of the case and when they're running at full speed they offer real noise cancellation. The unexpected benefit was on the rear versus a 120mm fan over 14 years old. It's a very cheap crappy fan I got from an old case and with these brackets it went unnoticed. (CAUTION: These things do NOT install in old hard plastic fans. I used 3-in-1 oil to lubricate them and tweezers to push them in when pulling them out. Even then, they nearly broke before theyโ€ฆ

hard rubber. In the end they did a good job.

There were no instructions to help me understand what was going on. My best guess was that the narrow end goes through the fan and the long end helps you pull it through the case. This rubber is very hard and I broke two trying to get through them. I put them in hot water for a few minutes to soften them up a bit and that helped a bit. This should help remove the fan from the case and reduce vibration as well as simplify installation. got one of two. Installation was difficult for the firstโ€ฆ

Immediate notification of the difference!

I bought the Cooler Master Master Fan MF 120 and MF 140 ARGB for my first build because they were cheap and available from the store where I bought the parts. When all the components were connected and the fans were running, the computer could be heard from the distant corridor. So loud! Rather than sending the fans in, I decided to try the rubber mounts first (although these fans already have rubber mounts). INSTANT difference and I didn't buy enough so only 3/5 fans fitted with those rivetsโ€ฆ

To mount three 140mm fans in an Ethnoo Pro case

I bought three 140mm fans that fit in an Ethnoo Pro case. The fans arrived without the rubber bumpers on the corners (which I expected) and I wanted those rubber rivets to also act as a dampener. I've never used anything like this before, but installation was easy once I figured out what ending was coming (the other review has pictures which I recommend you check out if you're a noob like me). As my fat fingers struggled, I used needlenose pliers to pry the rivets through the mounting holes inโ€ฆ

Too bad they were made for a softer mount.

Received today. I had to tinker with some, their installation is not easy, but I managed. first reviewer; R. Stone did a good job advising others on the installation. One thing I learned the hard way is that you MUST install it on the fan first. Otherwise you will end up with a blind build and it will be much harder to fit all four. Also, you really have to DRAW these things. To get into the tight corners of my fan I had to use needle nose pliers. I was afraid to break them, but no one did. Asโ€ฆ
