10/24/19 Climbing the stars. Now that cheap gold is worn out (still like silver metal). case is fantastic. Has saved my phone from many falls and even with my face open it doesn't get scratched. Leather and stitching are strong, there is no wear. I darn and hold the stitches. I was tempted to buy a second one as a spare in case they stop production, but I doubt I'll need it. The quality has turned out to be excellent. First review. First, let me say that I've searched and searched and searched for a replacement for my favorite Waxhaws genuine leather phone case. I think they're out of business. Positive. looks like real leather and holds cash and multiple credit cards. I wish it was available with a silver or non-metallic strap. There's something about gold-colored metal that's never true. The clasp is a good security feature, but the heart shape would be more elegant if it was just a rectangle. The phone screen is open and prone to scratches. I was looking for a cover that would cover it and I couldn't tell from the photos that it wasn't. Great for the money, not in the sense that you'll accept something mediocre because it's cheap. Pretty nice quality!
