I recently re-pierced the second and third holes in my earlobes. Due to the jewelry policy at work I couldn't wear them for almost 20 years so they were mostly closed. Whenever I tried to wear just standard stilettos, they became extremely irritated, infected, and painful for several days. I basically just gave up trying them. Now that I have the holes open again, I can put them in and forget about them. No awkward posts pricking my ears! They are the perfect width (3mm). The gauge is exactly what I was looking for as the holes were getting so small and I wanted them to be easy. They're affordable with great color options that are easy to coordinate. I wear plain hoops that go with these bars. The quality is excellent. As good as any of the most expensive "piercing hardware" that costs the same for just one piece. Definitely worth it. the only way!
