I'm sensitive to inferior metals and they're easy on my ears! However, the gold and rose gold are basically the same color as shown in the photo.

They are cute and very cheap but I couldn't use them. I sleep on my side and having the ball behind my back is annoying me to death. As a result, they were very sick and red. Went back to the flatback version which fixes the problem.

They're perfect in them. The only reason I took off a star was because I couldn't open one of the rose gold earrings. The other 5 work fine.

They were a lot smaller than I expected but that's on me. The one I had in my ear for many, many years fell out and I lost it - I had no idea how big it was. Thought they looked the same but were much smaller. But they are really comfortable and the colors look decent.

The plating sealed the ends of the bolt, so you can't unscrew the ball to seat it unless you grab it with pliers, which will scrape off the plating.

Bought these 5mm headphones for my 11 year old. The balls are a good size to be gripped and screwed into the rack. The earrings are cute and fit comfortably. However. they're supposed to be hypoallergenic, and they're not. During the day she wore them, her ears hurt, they turned red and wept. Buyers, be careful if you have sensitive ears or are allergic to metal.

I originally bought this item hoping it would match my pretty piercing. It was too short, but it wasn't meant for that anyway, otherwise it would have been great. I use it for helix piercings and it is very comfortable to sleep with. Only one side is ball clasp, the other is just rounded back but still wonderful. Gave a pair to my roommate who has sensitive ears and loves them too.

It's really nice! Difficult to find rods of this size and caliber at such a low price. People talk about how tiny they are - it makes them comfortable. Straight barbells are generally not designed for large sizes (with the exception of fresh piercings). You don't have to worry about them being too long or cutting you in your sleep.
