It is easy to turn on and heats up quickly.

It plugs into an outlet as advertised and immediately heats the bottom hose, it heats up quickly. After the lower hose was removed, installation was fairly easy, getting the right angle is a little tricky, but the instructions are very specific and should be read and followed carefully.
