Some sanding dust on the preservative supplied but the edges are nice and sharp no chips or anything. Looks good, wish it had a # engraved on the bit - although this is unusual for small sizes. If you don't know the size, you may need a chart that shows the size of the drill bit versus the likely size of the hole. and not one or the other as some think.
