When I received the thermometer, it wasn't working.
Not sure if it was just a defective product or if it was a battery issue. However, being brand new, it should work.

- Works really good, easy to read use it daily.
Cons
- Light is so dim that you can read it. No beep when it's time to check temperature. Do not waste money!
