Review on 🏰 Mesmerizing Ulifery Hobbit House Cave: Perfect Betta Hiding Reptile Hole House Shelter for Your Aquarium by Stacey Haynes

Sharp edges and an odor that can harm the fish!

This little cave house looks pretty good on the outside BUT there were sharp edges on the inside that I could cut myself on. Each entrance hole and a few spots on the "roof" of the cave were very sharp. After some sanding and using a dremel to remove some of those dangerous edges I managed to get the inside very smooth and felt safe enough for my betta. In addition, this product claims to have a "slight smell" of resin material. . It is recommended to soak for 10 minutes before use. I had to soak mine all day and night to get the smell out! In general, this product is very bad for fish (especially Bettas) unless you want to spend about three days soaking it, chopping it up, and then soaking it again after chopping it up. That.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Functionality
