Review on 🌀 MaxxFan 0004500K Smoke Standard Remote Lid Fan by MAXXAIR by Srinivas Johnson

I ordered this fan for the rear deflector on my Rockwood Windjammer. There was a 12 volt cord. That made a lot of things easier. Installation took about 2 hours. Much of this time was devoted to removing the lap sealant and butyl tape from the roof. Here's a tip. Old sealing is easier to remove in the shade. Old butyl tape gets better after the sun warms it up a bit. This is an easy task to install. Very easy. I zipped everything up and found the remote control not working properly. The icons on the screen only showed the power and fan speed. I emailed Airxcel and they sent a new one about a week later. That's a great fan. I love fresh air in mode. Another nice feature is the thermostat. The standard temperature is 78°. I installed it in the morning and checked later in the day and the fan was running with the lid open. Very cool, pun!
