To appreciate this hat you need to know what I was looking for when I bought it. I needed a wide brimmed hat to protect my face and neck from the sun (I live in Florida). It had to be well ventilated, it had to be well made from a durable lightweight material, it had to be priced right and fit my big head! This hat fits the bill! It keeps my head cool and comfortable thanks to the extra large ventilation grilles on both sides. The brim is very wide and protects my neck and face from the Florida sun (this saves me from having to put a lot of sunscreen on my face which I hate as it's made of durable nylon so it's very light and dries quickly when it gets wet , but stays strong...and it's big enough for my head which seems too big for almost all hats.All these features and it's still very affordable.It's a must have if you love being outside!
