I made an apple pie and used 10 small apples. The apples were peeled, cored and cut very quickly. It's strong and well made. Rinse it if you don't wash it after use - your cleaning will be easy! It came with extra blades and an extra center punch. I was impressed with this because I had other products that were similar and didn't come with replacement parts. It was easy to assemble and very pleasant to use. In addition, every apple dish is prepared very quickly. Of the other brands I've tried, this is the best!
