Great apple peeler for graters, peelers and slicers

I love this product. It is very easy to use and makes it very easy to peel and core an apple. Wet the bottom of the suction cup base to ensure full suction. I notice some rust on some non working parts like the wing nut and screw but I spray clean silicone on it and that solves the problem. In any case, the food does not touch these parts. Be careful as the cutting blades are very sharp. I'm very glad I spent the money on this because I have arthritis in my hands and it makes peeling and coring

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • So far so good

Peeler Inexpensive

The other day I hand peeled and sliced 10 apples to dry for a snack instead of the usual store bought snacks. My hands were worn out from all the cleaning and cutting. Not to mention that my slices were not uniform in size. This prompted me to look for an apple peeler. I found several that all looked the same and cost between $14 and $35. So I started reading everyone's reviews. There were good and bad reviews for everyone, but the only thing I kept seeing in the bad reviews was the nameโ€ฆ

This is the only suction apple peeler that stays on the kitchen counter.

I made an apple pie and used 10 small apples. The apples were peeled, cored and cut very quickly. It's strong and well made. Rinse it if you don't wash it after use - your cleaning will be easy! It came with extra blades and an extra center punch. I was impressed with this because I had other products that were similar and didn't come with replacement parts. It was easy to assemble and very pleasant to use. In addition, every apple dish is prepared very quickly. Of the other brands I've triedโ€ฆ

Takes apple and potato peeling to the next level

Love the sturdy construction and the extra blades. I also appreciated how the instruction booklet showed how to avoid the pitfalls. The tool setting is simple but necessary. This will prevent damage to the instrument. I use mine for apples and potatoes because I really like meat and fruit pies. I have arthritis in my left hand so this process is much less painful and much faster. Cleaning is easy and common sense will help prevent injury. Oh yes, the suction cup: According to the packageโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent

Use hard apples on graters, peelers and slicers

I liked how easy it was to use. Also, it was incredibly quick. I love that you can do any combination of peeling or slicing. You can also adjust the thickness of the shell. I only made apples. It says potatoes are allowed. I had a problem with an apple, it was a little soft and broke the tines trying to peel it. Therefore, your apples must be firm or they will fall off the tines. Clean up wasn't difficult either. Be careful, the blades are sharp. As this is an item you don't use every day Iโ€ฆ

What rating are you going to?

For everyone who called this product "not good" or said "don't waste your money". Let me get one thing straight: READ AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS and if that doesn't work, watch the video on the Vittorio website before disposing of the product. I did it and it works as promised! The very first thing I did after harvest and made sure I was doing it right was peeling, dicing, and intoning 30 pounds of Granny Smith apples and 50 pounds of McIntosh apples. ALL IN ONE SET. Not once did it get stuck,

  • Great product
