What can I say? I need to drill holes for cable management in a media cabinet. (You know, they have holes that come out from the back but not between the different shelves and sections.) This worked really well, but I'd like to mention two things to note: First, you can buy shovels with small cutting edges, that expand from outside points, and they make cleaner holes when drilling through vinyl-coated chipboard. OTO, they are more expensive. Just make sure you drill a pilot hole, drill part of the way on one side, then drill the rest of the way on the other side to avoid chipping and splintering. Second, it may not be large enough to fit a US 120V AC plug through the hole. 1-1/8" or 1-1/4" would be the best choice if you need to do this. Again, they are more expensive.
