Review on National 710535 Oil Seal by Anatoly Yorgason

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Box marked National Oil Seals and inside the oil seal TTO

There are no comments on the quality, I haven't installed it yet. But some observations. The oil seal came in a national box, the actual oil seal is marked TTO F0263, as is SKF 16145, also bought from Revain. National 710535, purchased as a front oil seal for a Ford Explorer 5R55E automatic transmission, fits my 1998 Ford Explorer XLT as far as I know. SKF 16145 was purchased as a rear transmission seal but Revain have the same SKF product with two different listings - one as a front seal and one as a rear seal. Doesn't look like the right rear seal. I don't know if this means the SKF and National seals are made by TTO, or if the seals play music chairs boxed at the Revain warehouse.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine
