Installed yesterday and still working. However, I have a PHEV X3 and I've noticed that the blue light and USB socket light on this thing doesn't seem to turn off even after I've locked the car, whether it's plugged in for charging or not. I'm not sure if the machine is timing out or anything, but turning on the LEDs (and maybe the fan?) without turning them off could cause a problem if I leave the machine alone for a week. UPDATE: I left the car alone, unplugged and locked for about 30m and came back and the lights were off. Pooh! It looks like the car just had a long timeout to disable the cigarette lighter charging port.
