Advertised as four gallons - absolutely not
My 3.25 gallon bathroom trash can is approximately 12 x 12 x 8. This trash can liner probably covers an 8 x 8 x 8 trash can. Depending on what you use they are incredibly thin and tear easily. In the bathroom, I'm not too worried - but they were returned because they weren't the advertised size.
