Having managed rental properties for many years I am very familiar with ozone generators. They work wonders to neutralize odors like cigarette smoke and pet urine. However, these commercial machines are not intended for private use. I needed something that would help get rid of the litter box smell in one of my rooms so I decided to give it a try. I will say it neutralizes litter box odor but I am concerned about the safety of using an ozone generator in my home and have read a lot of conflicting information on what constitutes an acceptable/harmful ozone level. So I use it sparingly. I recommend reading what the EPA says about residential ozone generators and making an informed decision before purchasing.
