I have my 3rd and final headlight in less than 2 months. The first lasted 4 weeks, the second - 3 weeks. Let's see how long this last light lasts. My Russian tortoise seems to love the light so they are decent when they are working. Expect to change the bulb at least monthly, even if you follow all the instructions. **Update I bought another set because if they last 3 months a set that's 6 months for $28 and that's reasonable enough. I will spend the next 3 months looking for the best replacement bulb. I wanted a replacement immediately in case my last flashlight gave up the ghost in the next few days. (The cake needs its light!) However, it says PRIME, but the delivery is 6 days. Keep this in mind when ordering if you need fixtures urgently!
