Since I own both a PS4 and an Xbox One X, I have something with which to make a comparison. At the beginning of the summer, a deal allowed the purchase of a PS4 from the beginning of the generation for the same price as a One X. I do not have any regrets about it because during this period, all exclusives that were worth having became available on other platforms, and now I play exclusively on the Xbox platform. The frame rate is more consistent, the controller is more user-friendly, and the console does not shut down during particularly taxing games. Naturally, the picture quality is significantly enhanced on the X, and everything else about it runs more smoothly. But it would be ideal if each gamer had exactly two consoles and we weren't split up into different groups. to avoid passing up any enjoyable games, including God of War, Spider-Man, Forza Horizon, and Gears of War, among others.
