Doesn't work for my application
When the extension ladder with rungs is placed directly over the post, the velcro on this strap will not fit. In this application, the strap is too long and the Velcro sections are misaligned, misaligned. The strap pulls the ladder against the "ladder stop" on the front of the frame. With this arrangement it will work perfectly. Rungs of the ladder, this strap is too long to hold a ladder. If you have 2 extension ladders on the rack, the velcro will line up (the hook will meet the loop sections).
