Used to clean pots placed under electric burners on the stove. Conventional washing-up liquid does not remove burnt-in grease. This product did. It still needs some cleaning up, but it works. Please note that the bottle is much smaller than the average Ajax or Comet bottle. It also leaves scratches. I've used this with a regular dishwashing sponge that doesn't usually scratch. Scratches didn't bother me, but I wouldn't use it on a stainless steel fridge or microwave surface.
