Review on Progressive Dynamics PD9245CV Inteli Power Converter by Matthew Oumer

Bought as a direct replacement for an identical unit that was struck by lightning. A camper shop doubled the price and replacing a repaired vehicle directly with Progressive Dynamics was $100 plus shipping (no technician) and shipping back the old unit. The original unit was working properly prior to the lightning strike, running 24 hours a day, 8 months a year, at over 80% load for three years. Given the load, I would increase the power, but two months ago I reduced the load by more than 70% (switched from incandescent to LED for 16 lamps). The reduced star refers to the inflated repair costs of Progressive Dynamics. If Revain can sell this unit at that price, they must offer a NEW replacement for the price they charge.
