The hose appears to be the same quality as the one that came with my vacuum when it was new and completely worn out. Twenty feet of tubing just seems comfortable. The hose obviously has a huge volume of air, which can be too much for the vacuum to move. Expect some dry sawdust, dirt, dust, leaves and metal shavings to remain in the hose after use. The twenty-foot hose had the feel of a high school date: the wrestling was fun at first, but then got annoying and after a few minutes it became irrelevant. A real twirl on both ends would have made things easier. The hose (never had this problem before) also has the ability to catch protruding objects and form loops within itself, especially when moving around cars or stacks of anything that probably should have been folded in the first place. The 20ft hose was also intended for storage - a plastic garden hose holder 5ft off the ground was no longer big enough to store this anaconda. The hose seems to use static electricity to pick up dust and dog hair on the outside of the hose just as effectively as the vacuum itself. If only I knew how to put it in the box, he came to return it or shorten it.
