It takes a VERY powerful vacuum to maintain suction, and where are you going to store it?

The hose appears to be the same quality as the one that came with my vacuum when it was new and completely worn out. Twenty feet of tubing just seems comfortable. The hose obviously has a huge volume of air, which can be too much for the vacuum to move. Expect some dry sawdust, dirt, dust, leaves and metal shavings to remain in the hose after use. Works with a 30 year old Craftsman

My old but working Craftsman 3HP Der 8 gallon wet dry vac was awkward to transport with the stock 6ft hose so the addition of the new 20ft hose was a welcome improvement Master - Model 113.177010, he is at least 30 years old The New 2-1/2" hose fits snugly, one end has a built in swivel that plugs straight into the vacuum. Comes with a 'secret' cut flaw in the hose

Ordered to fit the shorter (1-7/8) long vacuum cleaner to replace hose in workshop. It was one of those high quality hoses, but because it was smaller things got stuck very easily; So back to the tried and true 2-1/2" hose. Works well as an extension but the included adapter will not fit 2-1/2 " fitting

I have a large wet/dry ridgid with a 2-1/2 inch hose connection. I bought this extra long hose specifically for use with this vacuum to unclog a clog in our dryer vent that couldn't be cleaned with a lint brush. I needed a long hose to get to the clog.
