This YAPJEB 5.5 liter hydration pack is not suitable for a regular hydration pack. This hydration pack is actually designed to fit like a vest, which actually makes it better than the hydration packs I already own. This hydration pack sits fairly snugly against your back, preventing it from shifting too much and eliminating the chafing I sometimes get from the straps of other hydration packs I own. This hydration pack is designed so that the traditional "backpack" straps are actually the front of the vest. The hydration bladder (in the insulated back pocket) sits close to the back when running. I really like the design of this hydration pack. It almost completely eliminated the friction I would feel on my shoulders and neck with other hydration packs.
