Great for rats too!

It took our two rat girls a few days to figure out what to do with this hammock, but once they did, it became their favorite place to nap together. Two adult rats are placed together in the lower "pocket," but so far (about a month later) neither of them has shown any interest in sleeping on the upper surface. in a cage it stabilizes the hammock, so looks more like a sturdy cloth platform with a bag underneath and less like a dangling clumsy pouch, and the rats definitely found it more comfortable (the strap buckles are spaced far apart). They didn't start sleeping in it until I made this adjustment. I have two so I can switch them to wash.
