If you can get to the back of the nut bit it will work if no compression tool is required. Just take a 1/4-20 2" bolt. Screw on the nut and add a couple of washers. Thread the bolt into the nut so the bolt sticks out about 14" from the back. Put the Nutsert on into an appropriately sized hole.and place a 14/20 nut on the back and then tighten slightly.Now press the nut against the bushing in the hole and tighten the front nut while holding the head of the Hold the screw in place Tighten the nut until the nutsert reaches the bottom and is firmly seated in the hole Remove the rear nut and unscrew the screw from the nut Works like a charm No expensive tools required
