A lot of people like this product and there are a few things you need to know before deciding if it's right for your application. Retractable lights can be really useful, but remember they only point down. So, like me, you probably need a device at the top of your vertical equipment rack. This allows light to shine onto the surface of the underlying components. It also means that the power cords from these components go upstairs and connect to the Furman. I like it because it keeps power cords away from connections and speaker wires. Outlets are zoned to isolate larger, power-consuming devices from source and DAC components. What's missing is the power sequencing ability that would turn on the components individually. If you think you need this option, do not buy this device. In terms of performance, Furman eliminated the annoying low-level hum I experienced. It was worth fixing this issue. I highly recommend this product.
