I bought a Primo water dispenser a few years ago and it stopped pumping water from the bottle into the tank. Called Primo and they weren't helpful in troubleshooting, explaining that it's normal to have a few gallons of water left before the light starts flashing. actually because when I first bought it it used all the water in 5 gallons. Pitcher except half a glass. In any case, I decided the problem was in the pump and replaced it with this one. I had to cut and solder a new end connector as it didn't fit the water dispenser control board. After putting everything back together, everything worked just as well as the first time I bought it. If you have a flashing red light and have at least a gallon left and you've checked the hoses. Your pump is definitely defective. Would buy this again.
