The coat is well made and very easy to put on. There is no "stretch" but the Velcro on the collar and waistband is strong, wide and easily adjustable for a snug yet comfortable fit. This is a 14-15 inch "small" chest size. (She moves too much to get accurate measurements.) There is a hole that allows you to attach the leash through the sheath to the D-rings on the leash. Rosie recently had her hair cut short and seems to be loving her new coat which will keep her toasty warm in the cold weather when she's out and about. She can move freely without restriction. We haven't tested the coat for water resistance yet, but I'm sure it will meet Rosie's requirements. I recommend this coat and would not hesitate to buy other (Kuoser) products from this manufacturer. Quality is very important to me and this coat is not only high quality but also affordable.
