Review on 🪚 Freud BL71MCE9 Saw Bushing 5/8" x 1" - Enhancing SEO by Richard Gilbert

I bought this socket to use on a Craftsman miter saw. I also bought a new Freud saw blade. The inner diameter worked well. But the outside diameter (OD) was 1.004. Saw blades work from 1.001 to 1.002. This means that the bushing will not fit either the new Freud blade or the old Craftsman saw blade. I ended up finely grinding the OD which measured between 0.998 and 1.000. I was a fitter in a previous job and I understand that the socket I could deviate from the norm by several thousand. but it seems to work. What annoys me is that I paid 9 times more than Freud's competitors' sockets. I could have spent 99 cents on a poorly made bushing instead of $9. Stay away from this socket.
