🪚 Freud BL71MCE9 Saw Bushing 5/8" x 1" - Enhancing SEO Review

I bought 2, one (1) worked fine but stuck. The second was a problem, not in circles, you could see and hear the blade whipping through the test cut. Measured on both sides of the adapter: .1900 to - .1750

This hub could be used but either because it was a bit small or because the hole in the blade was a little over 1 inch the bushing wouldn't stay in. I had to deal with it falling out when installing the blade, but I was able to get it to work in the end.

I bought this adapter for BaiWen 9 x 100 teeth 1 arbor circular saw but either the hole is a little over 1 or the adapter hair is underneath just not quite tight I can insert and remove it with my fingers Not sure which manufacturer is to blame I'm giving this adapter an average rating.

I used this insert to mount a much larger blade on my 50's radial hand saw. Old Dewalt with good performance. This insert was the perfect size, I slipped it easily into a 12" Diablo saw blade and it allowed me to use a larger blade than the manufacturer's original size (9" and couldn't cut deep enough for my workshop). Super happy.

Sleeve fits my 1" mandrel blades snugly. They go well with the thickness of the blade (normal kerf). I was able to place them by propping the center of the blade up on a flat 2" diameter hardwood anvil. I gently tapped the edge of the bushing with a hammer, making sure it sat in the same plane as the rest of the blade. Do not place the entire blade on a flat surface as the notch on the blade is actually thicker than the blade itself, this could damage the blade.

I was dying to finish the project and this was the only socket I could find. Glad it works. It's just a small metal washer so as long as it's the right size there's nothing to worry about. The bad news is that it's almost $5 for something that should reasonably cost maybe 20 cents. A few days after it arrived I went to a discount tool store and found an assortment kit with 2 of these and 4 other types for $2. Bought an adapter sleeve for a Freud Diablo D1050CF 10" steel circular saw blade that I was planning to put on my Makita (woodcutting) miter saw. The Freud Diablo canvas comes with a 1" canvas for some reason. Alcove My Makita miter saw had a 5/8" mandrel. Hence the reason I needed the adapter sleeve. The hub is perfect for this Diablo Disc. I bought this socket to use on a Craftsman miter saw. I also bought a new Freud saw blade. The inner diameter worked well. But the outside diameter (OD) was 1.004. Saw blades work from 1.001 to 1.002. This means that the bushing will not fit either the new Freud blade or the old Craftsman saw blade.
