I am a single mother with two teenagers in an apartment with lousy toilets. I'm a piston expert, but in the end I was surpassed by a clog that outlasted all my efforts. I was nervous about using this but it turned out to be the best thing ever. It was packed in a 4ft high crate and packed neatly in a second strong crate inside. It's about 3ft tall and looks a little different than the product photo, the grip is a little different but essentially the same and it's heavier and stronger than I expected. It was easy to use after watching a few YouTube videos and it partially cleared the clog the first time (the water in the bowl drained but when I flushed again it was still slow) and the second Completely eliminated. My constipation was (probably) just trash and toilet paper and it didn't bring anything with me when I removed it from the toilet. It was a lot easier than I expected. When I was done I washed it thoroughly in the shower (I don't have an outside faucet) and disinfected the toilet, shower and floor. After drying I put it in a box in the closet. I definitely don't regret this purchase.
