Just opened the shipping box and quickly started my mini project. My kids had this little coffee chair from the pottery barn kids and it was old, dirty and destroyed by a chihuahua. After reading all the reviews and the need for toppings, it clicked. I was just about to recycle/reuse the foam chair filler. I used a bread knife to cut it into pieces to fold into this giant pillow. Nearly perfect! I need to buy extra putty to level the surface. And then it's perfect. I'm so glad I have such a cool pillow at this price! Yes, the cushion isn't made of durable fabric, but we get what we pay for in terms of materials. It's important to remember. And I found the zipper pad opening better than expected based on other reviews. I was able to "flatten" and stuff an entire piece of styrofoam very gently without cutting it (you can do it folks, the foam is soft). I trimmed the rest to fit this piece. So basically it's the thickness of the linen pillowcases on your bed. I'm guessing if it was a pre-filled pillow made out of Sunbrella fabric it could cost around $200 and up depending on the design and store. So it was one hell of a deal with a little work on my part. I love my new boho pillow! Here are some photos. My husband is 6'1" and weighs about 200 pounds and looks like a little boy sitting on him. My kid is on it. She loves it and doesn't care that I broke her old chair.
