Review on πŸ’‘ Bulbrite Frosted KX60FR/E12 Candelabra Screw Base (E12) Light Bulb, Pack of 1 (1 Count) by Philip Anderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

All 3 still working after 6 years

Doing some work on my 15 foot high ceiling, and wanted to pro-actively replace these three bulbs with 3, 1000 lumen dimmable LED bulbs, but wanted to comment on the quality of these bulbs. I installed these bulbs in my living room ceiling fan with light dimmer in September of 2012, and all three are still working. Hope the LED's work as well as these bulbs did. I did notice that the Kelvin rating on these bulbs are 2000K, but I never noticed that they were overly yellow. There were no "super high" light output E12 Candelabra base Dimmable LED bulbs when I bought my ceiling fan in 2012. So I have this huge ceiling fan, for my living room-Dining room "great room" that has three tiny, E12 light bases.I read somewhere that the manufacturers were forced to do this, because of government regulations back in 2012 were forcing them to use these tiny light fixtures to meet some energy conservation standard. Now with LED becoming mainstream, we don't have to worry so much about meeting energy standards, my new LED Dimmable E12 bulbs are 10W each, and supposedly put out 1000 Lumens. Jury is still out on the quality of the new LED bulbs, but since I have the scaffolding in place, now is the time to change the bulbs!Spec's on this bulb state 960 lumens.

Pros
  • β€Ž960
Cons
  • May get hot quickly

These type of bulbs just don''t have as long a life as advertised, at least in my lights. I''ve tried multiple manufactures with the same short life.
